Family Night

The other day we were sitting around the dinner table and somehow we ended up talking about family night. We told our parents that in our religion we have a family night every monday where we spend time with each other and stuff. So then they decided that since we were a family we should have family night too! We were all so excited and we've been planning it since last week so finally we decided that we'd go to Centro and eat pizza al pastor at Los Trompos for FHE. It was such a fun night! I couldn't have asked for a better family here in Mexico!

Our family! 8 girls and 1 boy... lucky papa ;) Me, Caitlin, Mama, Mimi, Laurita, Papa, Rachel, Esme, and Nancy!

We decided to take the bus there because it's easiest and so we had to take a picture... all the Mexicans thought we were crazy. Please note that again Papa is wearing his crocs =)

When we got to Centro we walked around the streets a little bit and Caitlin and Mama bought some new blouses.

As Papa said, "Caitlin has a boyfriend for every day of the month on her shirt!"

Walking the streets of Centro with our family :)

Mama is such a little beauty queen. We love her!

 Los Trompos!

They have the best horchata ever and this is the only restaurant that gives free refills. We drank sooo much horchata tonight! I didn't used to like it before I came to Mexico but now it's my favourite drink!

They wanted a picture together! Soooo cute! They're the perfect every day example of true love all the time.

They were like celebs! We took so many cute pictures of them posing!

We loved taking pictures while we were waiting for our food =)

 More horchata por favor!

Best pizza al pastor in Mexico!

This picture makes me laugh! It looks like Nancy and Esme are praying and Caitlin is stealing a piece of pizza during the prayer. Haha camera angle tricks.

I love all the toppings for the pizza! I will always eat pizza with lime, onions, cilantro and salsa verde from now on!

We were so spoiled tonight! Dinner was delicious and mama and papa paid for all of us. We really got the best parents here. I love spending time with them and getting to know them better. After dinner we went to the plaza to watch the vacaria! This week they had little kids doing it and they were so cute!

 They are best buds.

Mimi loves snuggling with everyone actually...

 Sister love!

 Mimi loves Caty!

Mama knows the traditional Mexican dances so she taught me some moves

At dinner today we asked Mama and Papa how they met and so they told us the whole, long, cute story! She told us that while they were dating he would bring her a flower every single day but then after they got married he only gave her flowers for her birthday and mother's day. She was teasing him about how he should buy her more flowers and so today when they weren't looking all of us girls went and bought some flowers for mama. She was sooo excited! She carried them around all night and I kept catching her admiring or smelling them. It was fun to make her happy like that =)
